June 30, 2026, per CBS News Texas Report, two separate incidents unfolded across North Texas on Tuesday after drivers fled attempted traffic stops by state troopers, resulting in two crashes, multiple arrests, and a child being left injured inside an abandoned vehicle in Fort Worth.

Details of the Fort Worth Incident

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, troopers attempted to stop a white Hyundai Elantra at approximately 1:45 p.m. near New York Avenue and East Berry Street in Tarrant County. The driver fled the scene, crashed the vehicle into a creek bed, and then ran off on foot. A child was discovered inside the crashed vehicle and was transported to a hospital with non-incapacitating injuries before being released to a legal guardian. The suspect, identified as 30-year-old Trevion Mark of Fort Worth, was arrested nearby without incident. He faces charges of reckless endangerment and evading arrest in a motor vehicle.

Details of the Parker County Incident

Earlier the same morning, around 9 a.m., troopers attempted to stop a blue Dodge Dart in Parker County. The driver refused to yield, entered a closed section of roadway at Interstate 20 near exit 420, and collided with a truck tractor. The driver, identified as 39-year-old Esias Henry of Fort Worth, was arrested at the scene and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, resisting arrest, and evading arrest with a vehicle.

Investigation Ongoing

Both crashes remain under active investigation by the Texas Department of Public Safety. No further details regarding the conditions of those involved have been released at this time.
